A reading notice, not a tracking opt-in
The notice on this website explains how it works. Its “Understood” button only dismisses the notice. It does not grant permission for advertising or analytics, and this website does not load those services.
What this site stores
This site’s own code sets no cookies. It can save one preference in localStorage: key “helderlicht.notice.v1”, value “dismissed”. This records your choice to close the notice on this device and browser. Local storage is a browser technology similar to cookies for keeping a small value, but it is not automatically included with web requests.
Your controls
Use “Show reading notice” in the footer to remove the dismissal preference and display the notice again. You can also clear site data in your browser settings. If browser storage is blocked, the site remains usable, although the notice may return when you open another page.
Hosting and other websites
The files supplied for this site contain no analytics or marketing cookies. A hosting provider, security service or later site modification may change the deployed behavior, so the live configuration should be reviewed. Linked portfolio websites have separate notices and may use cookies of their own.
